The reason I wanted to join a Jiu-Jitsu gym was because I lost 2 mma fights to Jiu-Jitsu. I always had a desire to train BJJ in the gi. After 2 years of training mma I decided to give HeadnodHQ a try. I did one class and was instantly addicted.

I started BJJ at about 230 pounds. After training 5-6 days a week for nearly 3 years, I’ve lost over 60 pounds. I know BJJ has changed my life and it’s awesome to be a coach now and help other’s change their lives!
